2024 Barossa Valley Grenache Blanc de Noir – 93 Points
“From Grenache vines planted in 1912 at Lyndoch, this Blanc de Noir is fine and expressive. Hand-picked, gently pressed without skin contact, and fermented naturally in stainless steel. Subsequent malolactic fermentation and lees stirring have added lovely texture and complexity. The wine retains a precise elegance and a pure mineral-driven finish. A distinctive and charming early-drinking white. Cellar 5 years.”
2024 Barossa Valley Grenache Rosé – 93 Points
“A beautifully modern expression of rosé, styled closely on those from Provence. The 2024 vintage suited a lighter style, and this wine shows lifted aromatics with freshness and vibrancy. Naturally fermented and matured on full lees for six months, it delivers an appealing textural mouthfeel while retaining a light body. Bottled unfined with minimal filtration, it presents a pure and clean finish that captures the superb fruit quality. Cellar 4 Years.”
2023 Adelaide Hills Hill Smith Vineyard Chardonnay – 94 Points
“A refined Chardonnay from the Hill Smith vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. Hand-picked and basket pressed directly to French oak, the wine was left on full solids and stirred every 2–3 weeks to build complexity and texture. Eight months of maturation in oak have developed layers of creamy stone fruit flavour, lifted by crisp minerally acidity. A balanced and long-finishing wine with impressive depth. Cellar 8 years.”
2023 Barossa Valley Centenary Vines Grenache – 95 Points
“A pure and vibrant Grenache from century-old vines planted in 1912 at Lyndoch. The bouquet is floral and lifted with notes of strawberry, cherry, rose petal and a touch of earth. Nine months in seasoned oak has integrated seamlessly, allowing the fruit to shine. Elegant and fragrant, this is a benchmark expression of Barossa Grenache. Cellar 9 years.”
2024 Barossa Valley Tempranillo – 95 Points
“Brightly coloured with vibrant purple-pink edges, this is an early-picked Tempranillo made in the Crianza style for early enjoyment. It shows plush, rounded fruit on a medium-bodied palate with youthful energy and varietal vibrancy. A wine that evokes both Rioja and Languedoc, full of charm and drinkability. Cellar 5 years.”
Marananga Paradigm Vineyard Shiraz – 96 Points
“A powerful yet poised Shiraz from old vines in the heart of Marananga, neighbouring Torbreck’s famed Laird vineyard. A mix of dark plums, dried herbs and spice on the nose with underlying cedary oak. The palate is plush, generous, and structured, finishing long with earthy ironstone notes. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, this is a pure expression of an exceptional site and vintage. Cellar 15 years.”
